5th grade students in Regional Humanities studied indigenous cultures, and in particular their respect for the land, with their teacher Lizbeth Santana. They then went to the Muisca indigenous community in Villa de Leyva to plan trees with the Muisca. It was a powerful experience for our 5th graders and a great chance for them to deepen their understanding of the Muisca culture.
